RapidShare Phishing No More
Phishing of RapidShare accounts became prevalent around a year ago and has been a right nuisance. Numerous unsuspecting users have been caught out by these thieving sons-of-bitches, who in turn resell the stolen accounts.
RapidShare has finally put in place a precaution to prevent account stealing and I suggest everyone that owns a premium account to activate it!

Just don’t be naive enough to set your RapidShare account password the same as your email address password !

I am very upset with RapidShare as they now have a SMALL LIMIT of 1/2 a DVD in 24 hours! I found that the FREE account is less problems as once you reach your limit of 2,600,000MB in a day (1/2 a DVD Movie) you are directed not to the FREE USER or Premier page but to YOU HAVE REACHED YOUR LIMIT page. You have to either clear your browser or switch to another one.
THEY REFUSE TO REPLY AND REFUSE TO REFUND. I have send complaints to PayPal and asked they be REVIEWED for false advertising as it is NOT stated with the signup.
Streak
PS They have really become greedy over the years and only getting worse
